This has been a great little starter book for me from Esperanto-usa.org it has all the basics of speaking Esperanto along with simple reading sentences. The print quality is that of a printer on fast draft mode but is "good" enough to read comfortably. I definetely would buy it again.

This book has excellent coverage of all basic & intermediate Esperanto grammar and vocabulary. It is suitable for complete beginners, especially kids, once they are familiar with terminology such as nouns, adjectives, present tense verbs, vowels, consonants, etc. It exercises comprehension and reading-aloud skills, but involves no writing or self-composed conversations (more advanced skills). The dialogues are easy but quite interesting, and cover such topics as family conflict, nutrition, friendship, taking care of pets, etc. There are six main characters in the dialogues, all kids, ages 8 or 9 on up. Overall, an excellent introduction to Esperanto for older kids.
